Virtual Queue Is Back for Bluey at Animal Kingdom
Major news dropped this week regarding Bluey at Animal Kingdom, and you’ll want to take note for planning purposes! The virtual queue will return May 26, 2026, for the opening of Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, which also includes access to the Wildlife Express Train, Jumping Junction and the Animal Care experiences. Since it’s been a while without a virtual queue, find out how the process works in our virtual queue guide. You can request to join at 7 a.m. (from anywhere) or 10 a.m. (must be inside the park) within the My Disney Experience app. Disney expects it to be in use during the initial opening period and will transition to a standby line at a later date (TBD). We also learned more about treats, merch and PhotoPass Magic Shots, and got confirmation that Jumping Junction will be a shared habitat for kangaroos and wallabies. For all the details, you’ll find everything you need to know in our Bluey at Animal Kingdom guide!
Rock on! Disney shared new updates about Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, including a first look at the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, as well as the on-ride photos. Want to show off your Electric Mayhem love? Check out the new merchandise collection featuring a lineup of apparel, accessories and souvenirs. The snack kiosk outside the ride exit is also getting a rockin’ upgrade! FØØD by Swedish Chef will serve up Muppet munchies, such as Wocka Wocking Nachos, Churro Drumstick, Mayhem Soft-Serve Float and more. Find out more about the coaster’s transformation before it opens May 26, 2026!
With “Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu” arriving in theaters May 22, 2026, new galactic bites, sips and novelties are coming to both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. From Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta to Grogu Cookies, we’ll definitely be on a foodie mission right after we ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with its new adventure featuring the Mandalorian & Grogu.
From sea to shining sea, Soarin’ Across America is ready to take flight at EPCOT (opening May 26, 2026) and Disney California Adventure Park (opening July 2, 2026). Previously announced, we knew we’ll be soaring over the Grand Canyon, and now additional locations have been revealed to be Mount Rushmore, Diamond Head in Honululu and the Portland Head Light in Maine. This ride graphic also suggests we’ll fly over the Northern Wilderness, Southern bayous and the New York Harbor.
On a similar patriotic note, Disney Eats shared some limited-time red, white and blue snacks coming to Disneyland Resort, starting May 21, 2026. There’s no better way to celebrate the 250th anniversary than with a S’mores Marshmallow Wand, Apple Pie Churro or a Patriotic Mickey Caramel Apple. Plus, the Sam the Eagle popcorn bucket will be available later this summer.
Disney Cruise Line has a fun entertainment lineup on deck for this summer! For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration (yes, that same show at Hollywood Studios) is coming to Alaskan sailings aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, along with Anna’s Frozen Fun scavenger hunt and Oaken’s Maypole Swirl & Twirl dance party. If you’re a theater fan, the new Broadway Stars Series will highlight Broadway and West End performers on select Disney Wonder and Disney Magic sailings. Plus, the “Let’s Set Sail” sail-away show will roll out to all Disney Cruise Line ships. There’s even more fun to be had, so check out all the entertainment waiting for you!
We’re down to the final months of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, but there’s still time to “Celebrate Happy” this summer before it ends Aug. 9, 2026. The party favors aren’t stopping either — the 70th Anniversary Finale Collection drops May 18 only at retail locations at Disneyland Resort. In addition to merch, here are our top things you can’t miss before we say goodbye to the 70th!
That’s a wrap on the latest theme park and cruise news.
Hoppy planning!
