Deadpool Is Ready for More Merry Mischief with Holiday Special at Disneyland Resort
It’s nearly Holiday Time at Disneyland Resort, and your favorite Disney friends are getting ready to celebrate the season. Starting Nov. 14, 2025, you’ll find many characters in their festive best, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse themselves. Plus, after making his debut last year, Deadpool returns for more holiday hijinks with “The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special” near Avengers Campus (and at select performances, Wolverine may even join in). And of course, Santa Claus will make stops around Disneyland Resort to hear wishes and take photos through Dec. 24, 2025.
Disney Parks revealed a first look at the entrance signage of Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, the new 4D show coming to the Tree of Life Theater. It officially opens Nov. 7, 2025, with annual passholder previews on Nov. 5 and 6. We frogs got a special preview this week, so be sure to check out our YouTube video if you’d like a peek (and don’t mind spoilers!).
During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we love collecting as many cookies and cups of cocoa as we can, and trying as many exclusive specialty menu items as we can. The 2025 party foodie guide is here! And now, we can start making our lists and checking them twice (there’s only so much party time to eat!) before the event kicks off next Friday, Nov. 7, 2025. From the classic Holiday Mickey Cinnamon Roll (Main Street Bakery) to the brand-new Snow Cheese Chicken Strips (Cosmic Ray’s), there are so many festive flavors to choose from!
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Christmas Town returns bigger and brighter, starting Nov. 14, 2025, and running through Jan. 5, 2026. The park transforms into a winter wonderland with millions of twinkling lights and two festive entertainment additions. The new Holiday Skies Spectacular will feature hundreds of drones synced to holiday music, and the new Serengeti Light Show will light up Serengeti Plain with a multi-sensory light and music display. Plus, returning experiences include the Christmas on Ice ice-skating show, Mrs. Claus’ Storytime, Elmo’s Christmas Wish, character appearances, holiday treats and more. Christmas Town festivities are included with general park admission.
The Disney Destiny is officially on its way to Fort Lauderdale, where it’ll embark on its maiden voyage Nov. 20, 2025, and establish its year-round homeport. This week, Disney Cruise Line shared a first look at the costumes, sets and puppetry of “Disney Hercules,” the new Broadway-style stage show exclusively found on the Destiny. With the final touches being added, it’s almost time to go from zero to hero!
Not too far behind the Destiny’s debut, the Disney Adventure will start its Singaporean sailings on March 10, 2026, becoming the first Asian-based ship. Onboard in the heart of Disney Imagination Garden, the Disney Adventure will feature the first Disney castle at sea. The Storybook Castle is three decks tall and takes inspiration from iconic castles in Disney films and Disney Parks all over the world, complete with Easter eggs and even a hidden Mickey.
That’s a wrap on the latest theme park news.
Hoppy planning!

So many fun updates coming! Deadpool during Holiday Time might just steal the show this year.
